For students aged 11 to 16, those studying for English GCSEs, and adults, my individual rate is £40 an hour. Groups of students taught together pay £25 an hour.

The individual rate for A level students is £50 an hour, to take into account the more in-depth preparation required. Groups of A Level students taught together pay £30 an hour.

If tutoring takes place at your house, then I charge an extra £10 per session if I need to travel between 5 and 12 miles. I will travel further afield if needed. If so, we will discuss the extra fee for this.

Fees must be paid one hour before the session commences. This will normally be done via bank transfer. I can accept cash payment - arrangements for this will be made individually.

Cancellation of a scheduled session must be made 24 working hours (Monday to Friday, 9-5) beforehand, otherwise the whole fee will be incurred.

Students will receive a free hour tutoring session if a whole term's sessions are paid for up front. 

I offer some lower fees to lower income households. Please call me to discuss this.

If your income is £70,000 per annum or higher, I request, but do not expect, a voluntary, higher fee. This higher fee enables me to offer certain students tutoring that they would otherwise be unable to access.  

All clients will be asked to agree and sign a contract with the above points made clear before tutoring begins.
